I'm planning a trip for early October 2007 on board a luxury liveaboard diving the Deep South of the Red Sea to areas such as Rocky Island, Zabargad, Elphinstone Reef and the reefs of St. Johns.

The price will be approximately £1,000 and will include flights from Manchester to Marsa Alam, accommodation in en-suite twin cabins, all food, snacks & soft drinks, at least 3 dives per day and possible free nitrox

The Deep South is the new Red Sea having been largely un-visited until recently. It promises great pristine reefs, walls, wrecks and maybe large pelagics. Hammerheads, Mantas and Whale Sharks are regularly seen in the area as well as the usual Grey Reef Sharks and White Tips. Diving is quite challenging, currents and difficult conditions are not unusual so a minimum qualification of Sport Diver with at least 50 logged dives is mandatory.
